Early exploration of illustration, plants and testing concepts
To begin the process, there was research into what plants were native to the area, how they interacted with the space, and some rough concept art to see how all the colors and textures would interact. The idea was to create a landscape painting and use elements of that to fuel the look and feel of the rest of the event.

Website mocks
With the website, we wanted to keep in line with the feeling of the desert flower garden that we were building. This meant an airy font that felt strong but beautiful and the classic desert colors running throughout the site. We also included little pops of florals that would eventually make an appearance at the in-person event to tie the theme together.

Swag, swag, swag
And here it is, the brand being applied to some swag! Badges, t-shirts and custom stickers were all part of the package, making the experience for attendees complete and rich with lots of little pieces for them to take home.

Sign design mockups
With the size of the conference, there is a need for lots of signage, specifically wayfinding signage. When creating these designs, we aimed to have the signs be clear and easy to read, while also being visually appealing. By using a clean and legible font, high contrast colors, and the florals we created, we were able to make the signs visible from long distances and also be a visual through line.
