What we did:

• Implemented an event page and event index for upcoming XO Ruby events.
• Dropped some new portfolio work on the Flagrant website
• Attended RailsConf 2025
• Dove deeper into tailwind building process and learned how to make themes work
• Learning about Madmin
• Created postcard designs for XO Ruby
• Made a Capycorn Sticker for the Flagrant Gumroad site. (Buy one now!!)
• Finished designing the Training Tracker presentation for the SHRM conference in October.
• Began working on the XO Ruby slideshow template
• Began sourcing swag items for XO Ruby
• Passed and preserved from submit params in many ways (button_to#params, sessionStorage, json fields).
• Played with polygon points to visualize sliding dimension values
• Changed out snapshotting data in a JSON column with a slightly more complex query, speeding up an API endpoint to ~17% the previous time.

What we’re celebrating:

• Always volleyball +1
• Went to the EAA Airventure show
• Nephew has a soccer tournament this weekend
• Peaches, Sweet Corn and Cantaloupes
• Going to a potluck with my partner’s family
• Having a goodbye party for a friend who is moving away
• Another lathe at the makerspace!
• A fun dance-event weekend trip with a baby
• A baby that loves carrots
